About GDU

GDU was founded in 2015 and is headquartered in Wuhan. It is a high-tech enterprise integrating drone R&D, production, sales, operation and maintenance, and low-altitude data operation. It currently has more than 700 employees, more than 60% of whom are in R&D personnel.

As a leader in professional UAVs, GDU has R&D capabilities in the entire UAV industry chain and has a rich UAV product line. In UAVs, Docking Stations, payloads, software platforms and data continuously innovate products and solutions in areas such as operations. 2022

Launched S400E and K01;

Introduced UVER, the intelligent UAV management platform.

2021

Started the R&D of S400E, the flagship UAV, and K01, the docking station;

Introduced platforms for app developers in power supply, agriculture, and firefighting.

2020

Launched S100, the micro UAV;

Developed an AI-powered identification system;

Built an integrated platform for the protection of the Yangtze River.

2019

Launched L100, the fixed-wing UAV capable of taking off vertically, and Zeus-30 & Zeus-300, the heavy-duty unmanned helicopter series for firefighting, power line inspection, and law enforcement.

2018

Launched commercial drones S300 and S500 and their payloads for firefighting, law enforcement, power grid maintenance, and more.

2017

Integrated multiple functions in one single chip;

Introduced O2, the world's first foldable UAV with sliding arms.

2016

Integrated the 6 core technologies of UAV — sensing, communication, control, power supply, payload, and navigation;

Established GDU Flight Academy.

2015

GDU was established with drone technology at its core and launched BYRD, the world’s first foldable drone;

Among the first organizations to receive a “UAV Pilot License” from the Civil Aviation Administration of China.
