GDU Attended GITEX Technology Week 2016

At GDU, we were excited to attend the GITEX Technology Week in the fabulous city of Dubai, United Arab Emirates, for the show’s 26th edition, from 16th to 20th of October.

The show was packed with enthusiastic people from Middle East and around the world, eager to learn more about Byrd, and its technological applications both in the consumer and industrial fields.
GDU was located in the Drones and Robotics Section at Hall 8 of the Dubai World Trade Centre, right in downtown Dubai. GDU presented the “game changer”, Byrd Standard, Advanced and Premium versions to the public, and demonstrated to the attendees the advantages of Byrd: Power, Portability and Modularity.

For that, we did flight demonstrations using, within one Byrd drone, 7 different cameras, including DSLR , Infrared and Mirrorless cameras.

Many customers and potential partners from the industry were excited to see something that for the first time.

We did some amazing interviews with UAE and Middle East media to introduce to everyone the features and advantages of GDU Byrd.

The faire was a complete success due to the amount of potential partners, distributors, UAV artists and collaborators that we have met there.

Dubai was a great experience for GDU, we will certainly make another appearance!
